OVERVIEW
Sunday 18th March 2012
2012 Ashburton Primary School fair is developing into the Grand Fair that we are all accustomed to. Bic Walker has created a superb logo for the fair in support of the theme “Celebrating our World”. This will be used throughout the campaign on all advertising and promotional items.
Building works will be up and running and this will provide a challenge for the fair that everyone is keen to take on. We are planning all the favourite stalls and complementing this with a myriad of rides and other activities. Finding them will be the trick.
Our special guest Adam Wallace, author of children’s books such as The Incredible Journey of Pete McGee and Better Out Than In, is very excited to be a part of our grand day. We are working on some great activities for the children to do with Adam leading up to and on the day of the fair. Stay tuned!
We still have some stalls for which we need convenors. Convening a stall is a great way to get involved in the school community and build a strong network throughout. It enriches your school experience and enjoyment along the way. As you read the vacancies in the most recent Grand Fair Newsletter and you find yourself interested, please call me directly to find out how you can help and join the convenors team.
So until next time, my continued thanks for the support of all the volunteers and staff of APS and looking forward to next year.
Next meeting: Convenors Launch – Current and new stall holders
Tuesday 15th November – 7.30pm – Room 1&2
All interested parties are most welcome.
